Oh, Hello!

I'm Raqui (like rocky).

I'm a food photographer living in Baltimore, MD, whose work is guided by an interest in finding patterns that connect the seemingly unrelated. My practice involves research into the cyclical relationship between our power to shape societal trends, and the effect those trends then have on our personalities and behaviors.

I have worked with over 200 restaurants. My past clients include: UberEats, Amazon, and McCormick.

All of that is to say….
I specialize in: Edible Storytelling (putting big ideas on small plates) & Food Beauty (think glamour shots for tasty treats).

  My Inspiration

“The greatest illusion in this world is the illusion of separation”. “You can no more separate one life from another than you can the breeze from the wind.”

We often feel like we live in a bubble, but in reality, our words and actions impact others. I want to show with my work, that everything and everyone is connected. We constantly influence others and others influence us.

I want my work be to reminder that humility and humanity should always underlie our thoughts and actions, because separation is an illusion; we are all connected.

If something so ephemeral as an idea can affect another idea then it should be apparent that something concrete- such as a physical behavior or our personality- impacts the world around us.
